Finding the Evidence in Point of Care Resources

After the session, participants should be able to …
  1. Identify Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) resources from the library 
    (e.g., UpToDate, DynaMed, Clinical Key, JAMAEvidence, VisualDX, Natural Medicines, and Cochrane Library
  2. Explore and navigate commonly used EBM resources
    (e.g., UpToDate, DynaMed, Clinical Key, JAMAEvidence, VisualDX, Natural Medicines, ACP Journal Club, guidelines, and Cochrane Library 
  3. Find and use the “Mobile Friendly Apps” provided through library subscriptions, especially for UpToDate and DynaMed
  4. Understand when and how to conduct a search using PubMed’s Clinical Queries VS a level 1 comprehensive search of PubMed
